I don't think I can dare to compare myself with those who read the Quran everyday. It is like comparing a mountain with a needle. The feeling of satisfaction and peace that comes from reading the Quran is so great, it makes me feel happy and satisfied all throughout my day without a single worry bothering me. The infinite knowledge embedded in every letter of the Qur'an makes it fascinating for readers to search for meaning behind each verse, just as there are many meanings in multiple verses that have been discussed by scholars over time. I have read Qur'an since I was 11. Reading it daily for so long has given me the opportunity to recognize the powerful effects of this book. It is a book that teaches people that they are accountable for their own actions, that there is no one to save them from their own mistakes. Every single verse in the Quran is designed to reach out to its readers and teach them about something they need to know at this very moment in their lives. There are parts of the Quran that I would like everyone in the world to be aware of. Reading the Quran changed my life. It brought me love, tolerance, and understanding. Riyad us-Sa'ud was an Arab Muslim scholar from Riyadh, He studied Islamic philosophy and other subjects at Al-Azhar University in Cairo and served as a secretary of Muhammad al-Baqir, a Shia authority in Najaf. His scholarly book "Mukhtasar Diriyya o Khasaat Usool" is one of the most authoritative books about the Shia fiqh. Riyad also wrote books on the origins of Muhammad's rituals. In Najaf he translated several works to Arabic from Persian and other languages including "Manhaj Jami al-Usul". Seyyed Qutb was an Egyptian author, educator, Islamic theorist, poet, and the leading member of the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood in the 1950s and 1960s. He was executed by the Egyptian government in 1966. His most famous work is "Milestones", which has been influential among Islamist movements. Seyyed Qutb postulated that Western values are incompatible with Islam. His works called for uncompromising jihad to free Muslims from their perceived state of ignorance ("jahiliyyah")—a jihad he argued Muslims are obligated to carry out by all means necessary. He also argued that much of the "hadith" literature was false reporting on the words and deeds of Muhammad. He envisioned a new 'Islamic' civilization, with the aim of promoting a return to what he considered pure Islam. Shah Ismail Shaheed was an Iranian lawyer, Shia theologian, philosopher, and the leader of the Iranian Constitutional Revolution. He is known for being one of the most influential figures in 20th-century Iran because of his charismatic leadership, political writings on Islamic government, and the significance he gave to education. Before his death he was viewed as one of the leading religious authorities within Shia Islam. cfa1e77820
